Divine is voice-first. That means the people you meet here can hear your laughter, your hesitation, your tone — and you can hear theirs. That intimacy is the whole point of the product, and these Guidelines exist to keep it safe. They apply everywhere on Divine: profiles, voice matches, live Spaces, Clans, posts, Stories, direct messages, and gifts.
Breaking any of these rules can result in your content being removed, your account being restricted, suspended, or permanently terminated, and in serious cases a referral to law enforcement. The same rules apply equally whether you’re joking, drunk, or “just testing.” If you wouldn’t do it in person to a stranger you’d like to keep talking to, don’t do it here.
1. Be respectful
Personal differences — opinions, accents, beliefs, backgrounds — aren’t a reason to attack someone.
We do not allow:
- Slurs or dehumanizing language directed at any person or group.
- Hate speech, discrimination, or content that promotes violence against people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, veteran status, or any other protected characteristic.
- Affiliation with or promotion of hate groups, extremist organizations, or violent ideologies.
- Mocking someone’s appearance, voice, accent, disability, body, or any personal characteristic in a hostile way.
2. No sexual or explicit content
Divine is not a hookup app and is not designed for adult content. Do not use any feature to send, post, broadcast, request, or solicit sexual content of any kind.
We do not allow:
- Sexual or sexually suggestive language during voice match, in Spaces, in Clans, or in direct messages.
- Sexually explicit photos, audio, profile bios, voice messages, posts, or Stories.
- Nudity, even “artistic” or partial nudity, in any media you upload.
- Requesting nude or sexual content from another user.
- Soliciting sexual services, escorts, “sugar” arrangements, or paid intimate company.
- Linking out to adult sites, OnlyFans-style platforms, or anywhere whose primary purpose is sexual content.
Photo uploads are scanned for nudity and explicit content before they reach other users. Persistent attempts to evade moderation result in permanent termination.
3. Be genuine
Represent yourself honestly — your identity, your age, your voice, your photos.
We do not allow:
- Impersonating another person, celebrity, brand, or organization.
- Using someone else’s photos or recorded voice as your own.
- Profiles that misrepresent your age, gender, location, or relationship status to mislead other users.
- Synthetic voice clones, deepfakes, or AI-generated voice intended to deceive a person you’re talking to.
- Running multiple accounts to circumvent enforcement, evade a block, or harass a specific user.
- Any AI-generated image used as a profile photo without clear disclosure.
We use face verification to confirm accounts belong to real humans. Submitting fake verification material (a stock photo, a stranger’s ID, a deepfake) is a permanent ban.
4. No harassment, threats, or abuse
Sustained, targeted, or threatening behavior of any kind ends in account termination.
We do not allow:
- Threats of physical violence, sexual violence, property damage, or reputational harm.
- Harassment, bullying, stalking, or repeated unwanted contact — including coming back after a user has blocked you.
- Coordinated harassment, brigading, or rallying other users against a specific person.
- Slamming someone’s phone with rapid-fire calls, message bombs, or repeated joins to a Space they’re hosting.
- Blackmail, extortion, or coercion of any kind — including threats to share intimate content (“sextortion”).
- Encouraging or instructing self-harm, suicide, eating disorders, or other dangerous behavior. If a user appears to be in crisis, end the conversation gracefully and report — do not bait.
5. No exploitation of minors
Divine is adults-only. Every account confirms they are 18 or older, and we enforce that.
We do not allow:
- Any content that sexually exploits a minor in any form (CSAM). This is non-appealable, results in immediate permanent ban, and is reported to NCMEC and law enforcement.
- Sexualized content involving real or fictional minors, including drawings, AI-generated material, or roleplay.
- Attempts to contact, befriend, or solicit anyone you suspect or know to be under 18.
- Pretending to be a minor for any reason.
If you encounter a user you believe to be under 18, report immediately and (if relevant) include a screenshot. See our Child Safety policy.
6. No doxxing or privacy violations
Sharing someone’s private information without consent — whether you found it on Divine or anywhere else — is a serious violation.
We do not allow:
- Sharing someone’s real name, address, workplace, phone number, email, financial information, ID documents, or photographs without their explicit consent.
- Sharing or threatening to share intimate audio, photos, or video of another person (“revenge content”).
- Recording a voice match, Space, message, or any conversation on Divine without the consent of every participant. Unauthorized recording may also violate federal and state wiretap laws.
- Aggregating other users’ information to surveil, track, or build a profile of them.
7. No fraud, scams, or financial exploitation
We do not allow:
- Romance scams, advance-fee scams, “investment” pitches, crypto pumps, or pig-butchering schemes.
- Phishing, account-takeover attempts, or social-engineering other users to give up their credentials.
- Requests to send money, gift cards, crypto, or wire transfers off-platform.
- Off-platform commercial solicitations (selling products, services, leads, MLM recruiting).
- Any deceptive practice meant to manipulate engagement, ranking, or platform features.
- Misuse of the gifts feature to pretend to be paying for a service, an in-person meeting, or anything sexual.
8. No platform abuse
We do not allow:
- Bots, scripts, scrapers, or any automated tool that interacts with Divine in an unauthorized way.
- Bulk or unsolicited messaging, including copy-pasted “hi”-bombing the active feed.
- Attempts to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or our infrastructure.
- Reverse engineering, decompiling, or otherwise interfering with the App except where applicable law permits.
- Circumventing rate limits, daily quotas, age gates, content moderation, blocks, or geographic restrictions.
- Operating more than one active account or evading a ban with a new one.
9. Self-harm and suicide content
Allowed: discussion, recovery sharing, asking for help.
Not allowed:
- Glorification of self-harm or suicide.
- Detailed methods.
- Solicitation of self-harm from another user.
Crisis resources: 988 (US Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), Crisis Text Line (text HOME to 741741), findahelpline.com. If you encounter someone in crisis, end the conversation gracefully and report.
10. Election and civic integrity
- No impersonating candidates, parties, or officials.
- No content that suppresses lawful voting (false dates, locations, eligibility rules, voting methods).
- No coordinated political manipulation inside Spaces or Clans during election periods.
Disagreement about politics is allowed; lying about how to vote is not.
11. Regulated goods
We do not allow the sale, solicitation, or coordinated trade through Divine of:
- Firearms or firearm components.
- Regulated drugs, recreational or prescription.
- Gambling services.
- Alcohol or tobacco to anyone under the legal drinking or smoking age.
Applies to profiles, posts, Spaces, Clans, DMs, voice messages, and gifts.
12. Animal cruelty and graphic content
We do not allow content depicting animal cruelty, gratuitous gore, or shock content.
13. Memorialization of deceased users
Family, estate, or legal representatives may request memorialization (preserving content visible to existing followers) or deletion of a deceased user’s account by emailing support@divineapp.io with documentation, subject line “Memorialization.”
14. Voice-match specific rules
Voice match is intentionally low-pressure. Either person can leave at any time, for any reason, and that has to be okay.
- Don’t pressure someone to stay on a call, share personal info, switch to another platform, or meet in person.
- Don’t use voice match as a vector for sexual content (see Section 2).
- Don’t record. We don’t record voice match audio, and neither should you.
- If you have to disconnect for any reason, don’t hold it against the person on the other end — they may have done the same to you yesterday.
15. Spaces (audio rooms) rules
- Speaking in a Space is a public broadcast within Divine. Anything you wouldn’t say to a room of strangers, don’t say in a Space.
- Hosts moderate. Mutes, removals, and bans by the host are not appealable.
- Don’t simulcast, livestream, or rebroadcast audio from a Space without the host’s permission.
- Don’t hop between Spaces to harass the same person, host, or audience.
16. Clans (community) rules
- Clan admins set additional rules consistent with these Guidelines. Follow both.
- Don’t create a Clan whose primary purpose is to evade a ban, target a person, or share prohibited content.
- Don’t use Clans as private corners for things you couldn’t do on the public side of the App (sexual content, exploitation, hate, etc.).
17. Posts and Stories rules
- No sexual content, no hate, no exploitation, no harassment in posts or Stories — the rules from Sections 1–8 apply.
- Stories vanish from public view after 24 hours. Recording or screenshotting another user’s Story to harass or expose them violates Sections 4 and 6.
- Captions count. A clean image with a hateful caption is still a violation.
18. Direct messages and voice messages rules
- Every rule in Sections 1–8 applies in DMs and voice messages, not just on public surfaces.
- One unanswered message is not an invitation to send fifty more.
- If someone blocks or stops responding, that’s the answer.
- Voice messages count as content. A sexually explicit, threatening, or hateful one is a violation whether or not it’s “private.”
19. Gifts rules
- Gifts are a token of appreciation. They’re not payment for services, a way to buy someone’s attention, or a workaround for the no-sexual-content rule.
- Don’t use gifts to coerce, harass, or pressure another user.
- Don’t pretend a gift obligates the recipient to do anything in particular.
20. Report bad behavior
Every report goes to a real human reviewer at Tiger LLC. We take them seriously. To report:
- Use the in-app report flow on the user, message, post, Space, or Clan.
- For urgent reports (threats of imminent harm, child safety), also email support@divineapp.io.
- You do not need to identify yourself to the reported user. We do not disclose the reporter to the reported account.
False or weaponized reports are themselves a violation of these Guidelines and can lead to action against the reporter.
21. Enforcement matrix
Depending on severity, intent, history, and context, we take one or more of the following actions. The list below is a guide; reviewers exercise judgment.
| Category of violation | Typical first-time action | Typical repeat-offender action |
|---|---|---|
| Child sexual exploitation (CSAM, grooming, sexual contact with minors) | Immediate permanent ban, device-level block, NCMEC report, law-enforcement referral | Same — non-appealable on first offense |
| Credible imminent threats (to self, to a specific person, or to a group) | Immediate suspension, escalation to law enforcement if appropriate | Permanent ban |
| Non-consensual intimate content / sextortion | Content removed; immediate suspension pending investigation | Permanent ban |
| Sexual content (per Section 2) | Content removed; written warning; profile feature suspension up to 14 days | Permanent ban after second/third offense, depending on severity |
| Hate speech / slurs / dehumanizing language | Content removed; written warning; 7-day messaging or posting suspension | Permanent ban after the second offense |
| Harassment / bullying / stalking | Content removed; warning; targeted-block of the affected user; feature suspension up to 14 days | Permanent ban |
| Doxxing / sharing private information | Content removed; immediate suspension pending investigation | Permanent ban |
| Fraud, scams, financial exploitation | Account suspended; review of all communications; permanent ban likely | Permanent ban — device-level block where feasible |
| Impersonation / fake identity / synthetic voice | Account suspended pending verification; permanent ban if not resolved | Permanent ban |
| Recording without consent (voice match, Space, message) | Content removed; warning; feature suspension up to 14 days | Permanent ban |
| Spam, bulk messaging, automation, scraping | Content removed; rate limits applied; messaging feature suspension up to 14 days | Permanent ban |
| Underage account / age misrepresentation | Immediate suspension; data deletion under our Child Safety policy | Permanent ban; device-level block |
| Ban evasion / multiple accounts | Newly created accounts terminated; original ban restored | Device-level block; legal action where appropriate |
| Off-platform solicitation for prohibited conduct | Account suspended; review of all communications | Permanent ban |
22. Appeals
If you believe an action against your account is in error, you can appeal by emailing support@divineapp.io with the subject line “Appeal” and your account email. We aim to acknowledge appeals within 72 hours and resolve them within seven (7) business days. We may ask for additional information; in some cases (e.g., verification disputes) we may need to re-verify your identity.
Decisions on the following categories are non-appealable: child sexual exploitation, credible threats of mass harm, terror- related content, and similar “floor” violations. Other decisions are reviewable.
We do not retaliate against good-faith appeals. We may, however, keep our original decision if we determine it was correct, and we record patterns of bad-faith appeals against your account history.
